Celebrity Massage Therapist

One of the questions that comes to mind is, "Have you ever massaged a famous person?"

Yes, I have.  Celebrities are regular people with unusual jobs.  They come in wearing regular clothes, speak regularly, look normal.  I lied, one looked phenomenally handsome, though he was wearing a guest robe.  He looked like he does on television and magazines, perfect brows and hair, beautiful skin.  I have even been to celebrity homes.

The question is always, "Who?"  Wouldn't you like to know!  Only my closest friends and family get to know the deets.  I don't like making celebrities uncomfortable, and celebrities are already iffy about who their people are, because of their status, their money, their connections, etc.

I'll just say, I've massaged A-list and B-list celebrities, including baseball players (active and retired), poets, UFC fighters, authors, stand-up comedians, pro-surfers, pro-skateboarders, singer/songwriters, producers, movie actors, choreographers, commercial actors, and news anchors.  I've been a massage therapist in Southern California since 1998, and have worked in clinics, spas, high-end hotels, as well as on my own.

I do not ask to take pictures with them, sign autographs, nor do I even let them know I know who they are.  I try to keep it as low-key as possible, because, essentially, massage therapy is about relaxation.  They came to me for relaxation, not to talk about work.

But, needless to say, yes, I am a "celebrity massage therapist," but just like you...they are regular people.
